Advent Calendar Cracker Joke No. 22

Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, but when they lit a fire in the craft, it sank.
Proving once and for all that you can’t have your kayak and heat it!

Mr C has gone off to Leeds to meet his pals for a ‘ Lad’s Lunch’.
Using his Bus Pass of course.

They were meeting up at the Templar Hotel. Very old fashioned traditional pub.
Then on to Whitelock’s Ale House for lunch. The oldest pub in Leeds founded in 1715. A fabulous place.
No idea where they will end up after that. Just hope he manages to catch the right bus back!

My day so far has been catching up with jobs around the house and baking.
It’s our youngest son’s 50th Birthday tomorrow and so I am baking his favourite chocolate fudge cake. As it contains 400gms of plain chocolate I call it
‘Death by Chocolate ‘.

Walked up to the farm for more eggs and fortunately they have plenty.
Love the way they have decorated the hut for Christmas, complete with hen!
Makes a great seasonal blip.

It is cold and damp outside, so a nice warm kitchen is the best place to be.
Now on with more mince pies!

8pm on Channel 4.
Not sure if it was filmed this year.
It was truly magical when we visited before Covid.
