Flower Friday

A lovely bowl of hyacinths with a bit of added sparkle for Christmas. Our friends kindly gave them to us on Tuesday when they came for dinner. With a bit of luck they may open for Christmas Day.

Just back from Pinderfields Hospital where MrC has had the first injection of the new drug.
All went well. We were early and so he went in 15 mins. before his appointment.
However when we came out it was absolutely pouring down, and we got soaked dashing back to the car, which of course was at the far end if the car park.
Had to change everything when we got home.
Fortunately the M62 wasn’t too busy, and the rain stopped.

Just about to make us some mulled wine. That should warm us up.
