2022 Monday — Gut Wrenching

We mailed this belated birthday card to Ted back in early October when no one answered Ted’s home phone and then the phone was disconnected.

We were worried but had no idea what to do. Ted has been one of Mr.Fun’s life-long friends — since 7th grade. Ted has lived in New Mexico after retiring from the military. He has no heirs. He’s been married and divorced twice and never had children. Both of his parents are deceased, and his younger sister is also deceased.

The birthday card was returned to us today a full 2 months after mailing it to Tularosa, New Mexico.

We have no idea what happened to Ted. Did he have a massive heart attack and die? Did he lay on the floor suffering? Did he have a stroke? Did he get taken to a medical facility and never recovered and died? We have no idea how to find out.
