Only Two Sleeps to go

Today has been rather dreich, with little light!

We shopped in the morning, quite early, for our last minute food items, so all done now. 

And at lunchtime had a quick and unexpected visit from Rhona, with a gift, so nice of her to come when she was feeling so ill, has a bad cough and cold and should be in bed.  I do hope it lifts quickly and she can enjoy Christmas Day.

In the afternoon we headed down to Rouken Glen for a walk, it was very quiet, with everyone in the universe shopping I think, and we enjoyed the calm atmosphere.  Part of the pond is still iced up but a lot of it is free of ice and the birds were enjoying it.

Had a nice warm drink in the Boathouse, and then Bob had a rest while I did another walk, good to be out in the fresh air as when it was very icy we were not so able to walk out of doors.
