Recovery

We visited John today.  He slipped on a club walk, along with eight others, on the icy paths, but sadly he broke his hip!  He spent some time in hospital and is now home and in process of recovery.  He is one of the very fit walkers, and it will be very frustrating for him not to be able to walk for a while.  But he will in the end......He is being well looked after by his wife, Alice, and is in good spirits.

On the way home we called in with Christmas gifts to Bob's sister, and sat with her for a while admiring her craftwork.
