Bullfinch...

...with a tree sparrow at the feeder. There were at least four bullfinches around.

As you can see, it was snowing, but we didn't get much new snow. Just enough to be ploughed though, at least on the most used roads. We installed a new narrow front blade (*) to the plough first, but as it was getting colder, Jussi wanted to try the snow blower. It didn't work well because of wet lumps of snow on the road edges and he did only a small part of all roads. It will probably be better tomorrow after a cold night and we can do some more then.

I fell on my back on slippery snow covered ice just before the installation. Hit my head, so I had to have some rest. Must remember that even studded boots don't help when there's snow between the boot and the ice!

* narrow because it has more pressure to break the compressed snow and hard ice. I bought it in an online auction a few days ago. The holes for the mounting pins and the pins themselves were larger than in the plough itself, even though it was made for the same model, which is why we had to go pin shopping first!
