In the shade of a palm tree...

Last night's musical evening in the Alcazar was gorgeous. There were Arab musicians in courtyards and archways, serenading us as we strolled around, followed by a concert of music that was a fusion of old Spanish, Jewish and Moorish influences. The harmonies are so different from what we are used to - exotic and beautiful!

This morning's concert was in the Hospital de la Caridad, a highly ornate church attached to a charitable institution. And this evening we have a concert of sacred music in the Cathedral.

Seville is full of horses and carriages for the tourists. When they are not trotting around, they move slowly along all day so that the horse stays in the shade of a palm tree :-))
