SATURDAY - CHRISTMAS EVE

I had ordered some new Continental tyres for Harriet's car earlier in the week and nipped over to Huddersfield this morning to get them fitted. On returning home, I gave her car a wash as it was really dirty.

I've discovered that the Yorkshire Water hosepipe ban was lifted on 6 December but couldn't use the hose reel as I was missing a tap connector.

I nipped down to Screwfix this afternoon to get a connector, some more last minute shopping and a Christmas card delivery.
