Repair Shop Special

Jonathan (left) bought a cheap guitar from a charity shop to go with his increasing collection. He also bought new pickups and machine heads. Today we jointly stripped the old bits off to do the refurb. Here we’re levelling and polishing the frets. The pickup changes came next and finally the machine heads. Finished it all and restrung it to realise the bridge was missing a spring. Couldn’t tune it at the last stage. Close but no cigar.
