Grey Heron

The young one flew down from the dovecote and met me on the path. She had all her fish then flew over to the water for her extra bit. The male was at his usual place and got his feed. It was only the two again (plus several crows, a coot and a very brave black headed gull who pulled a bit of fish out of the male's beak)!  The loch is no longer frozen over so the other 2 must be getting enough.
