Grey Heron

Merry Christmas from the loch. When I got there this morning I could not see the young one anywhere. I made my way round towards the male and the young one flew over to the side of the loch. I fed her then made my way round to the male who was at his usual spot. He had chased the new youngster who was on the tree above me. I fed the male then moved on knowing the male would follow me, which he did., I doubled back to the tree where the youngster was, and sure enough, it had come down but just flew off when I approached. I went back to the male and gave him the remainder of the fish. Not many crows around but they all got biscuits. A shot of both the young one and the male today.
