Fellow blippers BrodieB and GM and I spent the most wonderful day EVER learning how to make a travel journal and how to go about filling it with paintings and drawings.

I am no artist but the wonderful Canadian artist Margot Paris is a genius and an incredible teacher. Not only did I make this beautiful journal, I actually had the courage to put some ink to paper and draw in it this evening.

Blipper GlassRoad and I share a passion for leather bound journals and all things stationery, so she'll appreciate the joy of today.

Now where is my leather/awl/waxed thread/bodkin/burnisher/glue/paper/silk ribbon? I'm dying to make another.
