And we’re done!

Finished the final order this morning and the last of the collections were done by 2pm. The volunteers topped off the boxes and covered any open ones with black bags to protect the remaining gifts from any potential damp and dust. It’s a little frustrated that some many gifts arrived after the cut off but they won’t go to waste as they will either be used through the year or will give us a good start for next years campaign.

I was pretty tired when we got home and we decided to go out for dinner. Miss PHL got the bus out and joined us as she’s been fighting a cold so hasn’t eaten all day.

It was a lovely evening and the perfect end to finishing the campaign. All children applied fir were sorted out including the 3 emergency applications which came in today.
