Cockermouth castle

We pass by Cockermouth castle most days on our walks…

This morning we went for coffee and Christmas cake at our friends David and Gill.

This evening we had our Christmas dinner…Thanks to Tam for most of the ingredients!

Mushroom and parsnip rosti …absolutely delicious! Homemade Cranberry sauce too! ( cranberries and satsumas )

Jim wasn’t too good this morning, but he had improved by the afternoon.


Q. How do you make Gold soup?

A. You just need 14 carrots…( groan )
