Merry Christmas!

It was a really pleasant day, given the current circumstances. A lot of texts, emails and calls from near and far. In the afternoon, a good friend came by and stayed for the afternoon (pre-planned). My knee was feeling so good that she was surprised (as was I). So we drank wine and grazed on her cheese plate, listened to Christmas music and generally caught up.

I'd had the foresight to actually step out to the pots in front of my house this morning and take a shot of the lovely white primula. I had the joy of planting these before I had knee surgery and they seem to have weathered the cold and miserable weather very well.
