Christmas 2022

I know, it’s not all about getting goodies. It’s about giving them too. And there was plenty of both. Firstly up to the daughter’s to find the granddaughter out on her very new and very pink bike. And to receive a lovely bottle of Bunnahabhain Stiuireadair which of course was reciprocated in kind. Back for more present opening before it was time to leg it across town to the SK’s sis for the traditional beano. What an excellent time we had - including three quizzes and of course the traditional scratch cards in the crackers where I won twenty two squidders! Whooooppeee!! The stress of hosting the bash was evident to all when the sis, at the end of the meal, tore up the menu planning sheet and threw the pieces in the air. I fear I may have offered to host it next year….
And once back home, there were further presents to open and port and oactcakes and lordy lordy, it really was time to crash out. Merry Christmas all.
