Well Deserved

The man, even with a busted finger, is trying to do up our flat (well, to be honest, he's been doing it up since I moved in a year and a half ago...). Today he was trying to sort out the stairs and railing. I was generally lazy and non helpful, but I'm pretty sure I would have been no help anyways.

My hard work for the day? I attempted for the first time gluten free puff pastry and it actually worked!!!? For dinner I made venison and porter pies with mash, peas and gravy. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! I am so proud of my gluten free puff pastry. Pastry has been a bit of a battle, but this attempt was perfection... but it did take me all day to do!
