Trying!

Beautiful day for Oscars playdate. This robin was fluttering around and singing its heart out. The dogs played a little but were more interested in the festive dog snacks!
We had lunch of xmas day leftovers - basically a second Xmas dinner! Then I tried my crochet blanket again! Over half the separate panels are done but having not picked it up for a couple of years I'm having difficulty doing the panels! I tried a few weeks ago and after 5 failed attempts gave up! So with my sister here I tried again! Looking at the panel I tried she thought maybe I was using the wrong sized hook! I was using the one in the box so hadn't thought it could be the wrong hook! So I tried again with a smaller hook- it seemed to be working but as I got more done it was obvious it wasn't right and was now too small! So this panel was again unmade and a slightly bigger hook will be used! But not tonight! Watched the Greatest Snowman instead!
