Town and gown 10k

A beautiful sunny morning, and the streets of Oxford blissfully free of cars - what better way to see the city?

Well, maybe not when running the annual Oxford 'town and gown' 10k run - we took this snap at the start and then I carried our pocket camera all the way round without using it again.

But it was a great experience, with 4,000 orange-clad runners turning out in aid of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign: a great day for a great cause.
