Chip

A busy day in yorkshire today!  Had a bit of a lie-in then went over to see Auntie M who it's always great to ctach up with.  Every year she asks us for a book list and buys us books for Christmas.  When we were teenagers it was CDs and now it's books.  It's always good to come home with a big pile of new reads!  Oh and some Haribo giant strawbs...

Then we were on to Castleford to catch up with the in-laws and a house ful at my sister in laws house.  There was much present opening, eating of soup and then making of Christmas presents.  This year we'd tried to get things for the nieces and nephews to do.  So I got a bubble tea set, M got a bath bomb kit, H got a lego James bond car and M2 got a colour in t-shirt.  Needless to say, bubble tea was made and drank almost instantly, bath bombs were made and the lego Aston Martin was carefully built.  We took away a great haul of snacks, baking books and drinks in return which was great but it was mainly just lovely to catch up with all the family.  

Blip is of I's dog Chip who spent much of the afternoon running around totally excited, but then crashed in his favourite spot next to the radiator and couch, which just happened to be behind where I was sitting.  He was super cute.

In the evening, we planned of visiting friend S and his Gran, but they were both full of cold so we exchanged gifts in the doorway and promised to come back when they were feeling better for a proper catch up.  Finished off with a curry from the Shama and an evening watching the Dectorists back with mum and dad.
