Tall trees reflected in a puddle

We had some sunshine and blue sky today, and I spotted this reflection in a big puddle on the trail by our house. G and I went for a walk down Xwaaqw'um to take advantage of the weather. The trails there were very wet, big puddles and running water in some places. It was great to be out walking, just needed to be a bit careful.
Extras: mono version of the tall tree reflection and a photo of road repairs. Our neighbours sent us some photos of the repairs that are happening because of a washout earlier in the year and the damage to the repairs from the recent heavy rains. The road has been single lane for months while the work is being done. G and I stopped to have a look on our way home and I took a quick photo. A huge section has been washed down the very steep bank, and who knows how the repairs will proceed now. Years ago, another part of the road washed away and truckloads of huge rocks were hauled in and dumped all the way down the steep bank to the sea to shore up and support the repaired road. We're not sure why this wasn't done here. The little machine is for lights to light up the road at night, and there are huge cracks close to it, but they don't show up well in the photo. Any more rain, and that might have been washed down too!
The record-high King Tides have brought in lots of driftwood, and on the top middle of the extra, you can see the house that was built very close to the sea. The owners go south in the winter, and they might have a bit of a shock when they come home and see the condition of the road!  He has said that he was aware of the rise in ocean levels but he'll be dead before the sea rises enough to create problems for him.
