Wetherby Weir

We had a little wander around Wetherby this morning before supermarket  shopping. Walking down by the river we could see the result of all the recent rain that we have had…the flow over the weir was pretty fast and noisy. There is something like a 2 metre drop under that water!

I have added an extra today showing the view from downstream, just the other side of the bridge.

Fortunately the water is still contained within the banks - just, so no flooding has occurred here.
