Last lamp

Another dreich day, and the forecast for tomorrow is even worse. I made a point of getting an early blip when I went to see R. Darnley Court, which was constructed I would guess 15 years ago or so is on the site of the former Infectious Diseases Hospital. This lamp, and a stone inscription above the door, is all that remains.
There is stuff to post after my burst of admin energy yesterday but going out again was unappealing. So I made shepherds pie for me and son #1 who is here for the next few nights while he’s on call with EMRS. We are now watching Boiling Point which is the most stressful film I’ve ever watched.
