Mossyard Beach

Today's the day .................... to blow up a storm

We were determined to get out and make the most of the dry weather today - and going to one of the beaches is always the preferred option.

So we made a packed lunch, gathered the wellies, hats, gloves, scarfs and warm coats - and set off for Mossyard.  We arrived in the car park just as the skies went dark and the heavens opened, so we opted for the lunch bit first from the shelter of the car.  But soon, it brightened up again and we could venture out.  

There was a fair wind blowing that whipped up the water and made proper waves, crashing on to the sand, even in this sheltered bay.  It was exciting stuff for Tessa and Josie - although Josie was more interested in collecting shells.

It was a great place to be on a day like today .......................
