I left Groove today and was surprised to see the postman out. What with bank holidays and strikes, I kind of assumed we wouldn’t get post again until next year.

I received a beautiful gift from my new boss, who is currently on maternity leave and who I have only met once, briefly, in the lobby of the Glasgow Premier Inn.

My new team seem extremely generous and I will definitely have to up my gifting game next year!
