Practice

Well Holy crap on a cracker the weather was absolutely wild last night.  Our local river has flooded again.  Our local council is rubbish and flood defenses should have been built years ago. But they would rather waste thousands of pounds on consultation fees. And wait until someone agrees with thwor stupid proposal rather than what makes sense.  

Harp and Carson got reserved light up drawing pads for Christmas from my big sister.  She was practicing her name. She will be fine for school in August.  

It's been a lovely day. My nephew is staying for maybe 2 days. He's with Xander in my extra. And then there is a giant jelly baby which was brought round by my twin. I received a lovely card today from blipper frenchitalia,  and my last extra is off the jedi. He was distraught when I was taking down the Christmas tree and kept taken it back out the box. My house needs some normality back to it. That and I need the space to put extra chairs in my lounge on Sunday.  I have up to 15 neighbours coming round for new year snacks.  It was a tradition I started about 7 years ago. My sister and her family should be coming too. 

I'll be having a early night tonight.  I've been up since 2ish as I was worried the trampoline would be blown over . Thankfully it wasn't.  I'm glad the weather has settled now though.
