Christmas reading

As I as suffering from a bit of a migraine I did not venture far from home today.

However, I managed to read sone more of one of my Christmas pressies, Paul Newman’s memoir.

In 2008, Paul Newman tasked his best friend with interviewing the people who had shaped his life, in order to create an oral history of it. After hearing and reading what they had to say, Newman dictated his own version. The transcripts got lost and inky turned up again, a couple of years ago and have only recently been published.

It’s quite a brutally honest memoir, but it’s a pleasure to read, as it’s so well written.

We are now starting to get ready for our next cruise next week.

Have a good evening all.
