Battle of Waterloo
Earlier in the week on Breakfast tv was an item on a stonemason called Steve Davies who has taken it on himself to restore long forgotten graves from the Napoleonic Wars campaign (Battle of Waterloo, 1815, Duke of Wellington etc.).
This reminded me of a grave in nearby Inveresk Cemetery of Major William Ramsay, who had died at Waterloo and which had been refurbished (by the Waterloo Association) in 2015 to commemorate the bicentenary of the battle.
Anyway, in search of a blip, I decided to wander up to the cemetery, and hence this blip.
Enough history, I hope you are having a nice final Saturday in 2023.
