Wild & Windy
The noise from the wind and rain on the roof and our roof windows woke me just before Mrs S left for her Late Shift at Treliske.
A swift shower before dressing and heading off for my Friday visit with Richard, remembering to grab my bottle of 15 Year Old Pussers Rum.
So glad I did as he announced that it was his seventy-second birthday shortly after I arrived. I thoroughly enjoy my visits to Richard & Jax, they started with the onset of C-19 and have continued, with a couple of breaks, ever since.
Home via the sea front where although the wind had moderated a little it was still enough to give the waves that little oomph needed to rise up the sea wall.
Home, coffee, a walk for Paddy which included Boscawen Field where I nearly went “end over apex” in the mud.
More coffee on arrival home where with “Where Eagles Dare” on the TV I set about reading the three newspapers, two local ones, that have accumulated in the last week.
Pretty relaxing day.
