Started Well - But

Sam and I headed off for a Veterans In Cornwall breakfast get together at the Cornwall Gold Centre. A good crowd of us enjoyed our breakfast, some on plates, some like me on a stainless steel shovel, a gimmick for the tourists but as I had never had a shovel breakfast I thought I’d give it a go.
We won some biscuits and a beanie hat in the raffle so came away quite happy.
Coffee on the way home and then an hour or two relaxing before I headed off to Richards ‘open house’ 73rd birthday bash.

The trouble with house parties is the host or whoever is distributing the drinks often wander past and simply top your glass up. At one point I found myself drinking something sickly sweet that turned out to be strawberry vodka.
A long night.
