Ice at the dam

I've tried a number of times to get an interesting picture of the water or ice at the dam at the long pond. This one was the best of today's. It is okay but I will keep trying. I was in a hurry as I had an appointment in town and wanted to get a walk in.
Today was one of the days that you think it's spring. It smelled just like it it was that warm. The ground in the chicken coop was thawing and goopy as I was trying to clean out the coop.
I got my walk in and town done. I took down all my Christmas decorations bar the the lights on the tree. We get to enjoy that all through January.
I'm trying to view the coming end of break as an okay thing.... it's hard though.
