It's all water under the bridge.....

A day of torrential rain. By lunch time the rain guage had 60 mm in it. Haven't looked yet to see what we had after that.
Kev on mucking out and bedding,I was on hauling slurry up to the storage tank.
Three dry coats and 2 dry caps later the rain eased off.
This is the bridge at the back of the steading. The 5 pipes will be choked with debris ,but there is no way of mucking them out until the water level drops . The suction hose for the water pump I was using yesterday to mix slurry was draped over the edge . Don't know how far down the burn it will be now. Hopefully it's still on the farm somewhere and not floating about the Firth of Forth !
An expensive evening followed as the rat bag terrier managed to eat one of Junior's gym energy bars . Only problem was it had a sweetener in it that can be fatal to dogs.
So Mrs F and Littlemiss had to haul him off to the out of hours vet . They gave him something to make him sick then kept him in to monitor his blood overnight in case he gets worse.
I'll tell you,he's turning out to be very expensive £s / kilo !
