Wren

I've just been watching this Wren in Shire Hill Wood Glossop. It seems to have chosen a rather strange place for a nest in the base of a fallen tree.

Very windy and rather cold but with a few shafts of sunlight so far. Still too cold for the birds I'm looking for I guess - I do hope they are going to arrive one day. A summer without a Cuckoo or a Flycatcher would not be the same for me.
