Dodging driftwood

We went for our last walk of 2022 down Xwaaqw'um but I didn't get a photo from there! We stopped to see how high the tide was at Drummond and saw this woman manoeuvring very carefully along the edge. At the peak of the record King Tide a few days ago, she would have been up to her knees in this spot. Lots of driftwood and debris on the beach. 
Extra: another view of the erosion on the road repairs from a different POV. Even more has been washed down since I took photos the other day.
