Lake George

Treated to breakfast at a diner (blueberry pancakes). Then took a walk around Lake George, where there are still piles of snow and ponds are icy, but the weather is pretty mild (about 8 Celsius) so it's thawing out.

Some festive displays in the town, bears in santa hats and santa with a palm tree. Learnt that this landscape is the setting for 'The Last of the Mohicans'. Diving ducks on the lake, too far out to get a good luck, and a woodpecker in the woods near Fort William Henry.

Afternoon rehearsal was followed by dinner, then an evening chatting.
