Zig Zag Switch

So far as one can tell, the Zig Zag railway will continue to fall into rack and ruin. There are stories that the Thirlmere Railway Museum has bought the whole thing and will revive its operations in due course, but it now seems that may not happen after all, due to a variety of technical problems and rising costs. Time will tell I suppose. In the meanwhile I shall call by on my way to and from Lithgow (from time to time) and record the site's progress into irredeemable decay.
