Late Autumn Lingers

I am always intrigued by the different rate at which Autumn happens. Some streets are bare. Some aren't. Some species are almost finished the fall. Other trees of the same species, in other places, still have some green leaves. Some say it has a lot to do with the environment of the roots in each instance and with how much direct sunlight reaches the ground, I suppose. Being a horticultural dunce, I can make no further comment. Here is a "late" precinct I suppose.
