Talking about a day trip over the border into the Czech Republic at the end of the month.

We'll be staying close to Germany's eastern border for a few nights, and it seems petrol prices on the other side might make it worth the short drive.

I dug out my old guide book looking for ideas, and it coughed up a few memories. Won't bore you with the details of my numerous trips, but loved the old fashioned paper airline tickets.

They're from the 2005 trip to Znojmo (in South Moravia). My son went to a week long ice hockey camp there.

Gee, he was 11 then.
