Munich Airport, 20:15. An Etihad plane got Blipped.

A nasty raincloud appears with dusk. We'd driven through it to get to the airport. Hailstones. A double rainbow. Typical May.

easyJet flight delayed 40 minutes to 22:30. No explanation.

30 minutes to get through Edinburgh Airport. Passport control is a disaster. The automatic passport machines switch off automatically at midnight, it seems. Smart stuff.

I passed through Addis Ababa Airport a few times a couple of years back. One of the world's poorest countries, but passport control was a breeze compared with Edinburgh.

Friendly & efficient. Is that too much to expect?
