The optimist.

The first day of a new year. No difference in the weather but I nipped across the road to hang a pot of Tete a Tete on Andy's door handle.  One daffodil should open today or tomorrow.  I had a to do list which all got ticked off which was a good start then Veda phoned in the afternoon and we chatted for ages.  Her daughter and son in law are up visiting but we are going to meet soon weather permitting.  By the time we came off the phone it was getting dark so just as well I took a blip in the morning. I've photographed this shrub before at the start of a new year. It's so optimistic.  A harbinger of things to come.
