A nice break from the floor. It doesn't feel like I've had the early Festive break since the last day of work last week, until now, in Chester, with the Tuttle clan. For me it was a first to visit the all-new Chester Market. A refreshing change from the major building site look of the last few years or so. Took a while to get my head round the place and ended up in the thick of the Christmas fair in front of the city hall. Crepe Affair for lunch followed by a the usual spot of shopping for some last Christmas bits and a second piercing for Tuttle Jnr.

It didn't stop when we got home either as I had a pre-booked drinking session in the local with an old friend, G. The two of us hit off with an accidental cider (to the both of us the label looked more like an English Ale than a cloudy southern English drink). The rest of the evening went like a house on fire, just like old times. Aces. This was only the second session of the year and we both feel it should be more than this! Bring on 2023.
