Hidden Beauty

This lovely lace-cap hydrangea is tucked away almost out of sight in a shady part of the garden. I have a number of very large trees in my garden. Some need to be cut back to allow under-planting to thrive and flower more readily. There is much work to be done, Luckily I find gardening to be therapeutic, just as I call my early walks with Maisie “my mental health time”.
Son Duncan departed for Motueka this afternoon. Bryan the Birman is still staying here. He is a lovely cuddly cat.
