Sunday: Yellow Hibiscus

We’re enjoying being tour guides.  Today we took P&J to the Blue Hole, located in the jungle, where it’s possible to swim.  It’s bracing when you get in but fine after that.  It was really refreshing and you can feel the fish nibbling at your feet.

We also hiked to St Herman’s Cave.  You’re allowed to enter 200 feet, after which you need a guide.  200ft is plenty, I kept imagining what would happen if our torch failed - it’s so pitch black in there you’d have no sense of where to head.

We finished off at the Lamanai Chocolate Farm where I spotted this hibiscus.  It’s huge - about the size of my head.  As a reference point, I have a normal size head.
