We woke to an icy sunny day. I made a pot of leek and potato soup in the new new soup maker . It was delicious & perfectly blended.
We drove to Caerlaverock nature reserve for a walk on the merse. We saw Reed buntings , barnacle geese and a friendly Robin.
Afterwards we went to buy new curtains for our bedroom. We spend ages choosing them , and they are now in situ.
