Canary Wharf

For our first full day in London we stayed within walking distance of the apartment. There's a little park nearby with a playground in it, so we spent the morning there. We came back for lunch then in the afternoon took the Thames Path over to Canary Wharf. Our aim was to get some stuff from Waitrose for dinner tonight and tomorrow. It wasn't quite as straightforward as I thought it was going to be, because it's on the far side of Canary Wharf. We were also in the wrong level, so we had to get the lift. That required going through a service corridor and it was all a bit strange. We came back at street level, which had its on challenges because it was so windy. I thought Orla might blow away! Her favourite bit was these fountains in Cabot Square. Her least favourite thing so fraud the fact that we only have Cbeebies for children's telly.
