First Swim

I joined the mad swimmers today. Such a gorgeous day to be by the sea - blue sky and sunshine - no rain! I gave Circus Girl a lift - she has dogs so I knew she would be ok in my dirty, smelly dogbasket on wheels of a car!! Trouble was it's been a while since I've been to her house and I got lost in her estate! I facebooked the swimmers and The Exile gave me the location via googlemaps. Too funny given she is in France! As we entered Port Wrinkle we saw the others driving out! Apparently waves too fierce for a swim so heading for cawsands instead! 
Once there they found a small bay,  and I mean small, once we sat on the rocks there was no room for anyone else! Which was great - people just stood on the path above us and watched with amusement/astonishment/disbelief as they all went in! Oscar barked as usual - he hates his herd entering water!
We drove along the coast on the way back and it was just beautiful with the sun heading down .
I thought I'd share the portraits of the group - Partygirls mum, Colourful Mai and Party Girl, Circus girl, Homeopathic Girl, The Angel and Circus Girl. The Camera man is enticing the others to join him in the water and the final photo shows just how old the water was! But they virtually all have dry robes so they were soon cosy with their flasks of hot drinks!

I would have had a photo for my walk at Cotehele yesterday but my camera said the card was damaged and when I checked it at home it had no photos on it! I'd reformatted it for the New Year as well! Luckily I was carrying a spare card today!!
Happy New year to you all! I am hoping there will be "respair" and "resipiscence" this year! Fresh hope and a return to a better frame of mind! Susie Dents words for the new year on twitter yesterday!
