The Extra is a screen shot of my New Year's inspiration. Through the miracle of modern communication, our daughter-in-law in LA had each of us point to the fortune cookie of our choice; then she broke it open and zoom-read me my message: Do Not Rush Through Life. Pause and Enjoy It. Seems like a good enough directive for the new year.

In yesterday's holiday excitement, I forgot to mention that it was my own personal BlipVersary: I began this journal on New Year's Day in 2011.
