Gap

After not getting out yesterday, I felt restless and grumpy, sitting at my desk this morning, so I told P I'd need to go for a walk at lunchtime. He asked: "Ants in your pants?" In German, we say "Hummeln im Hintern." (Bumblebees in the bum) - meaning the same thing.

 I didn't go very far. The walking paths that were muddy at New Year have turned to deep quagmires in yesterday's rain, and the view was reduced to this narrow gap between fog in the valley and clouds above. 

But whatever insects had been bothering me, the walk got rid of them.
