One of Many

A dark, cloudy and wet day. I went for a short walk at lunchtime, without finding a blip.

But the local tribe of magpies was out in full force this afternoon. At one point, eight of them were sitting in our neighbour's ornamental cherry tree, chattering loudly. 

That tree is too far away for a photo with my mobile. By the time I had fetched my camera, I only managed to get this one shot in focus before they all flew away. A camera-shy gang.
