Band width

Great excitement in the ‘hood today as the AirBand cables were being installed. We, along with several neighbours, have signed up. It’s an initiative to get “ rural” areas faster broadband promoted by the local council - with a few incentives thrown in as well, although these seem to vary depending on who you talk to. We were offered an £85 Netflix voucher. Plus it’s cheaper than our current provider when our contract renews in March by £16, so a no brainer !
Today the guys were poking cables through a hole at the front door :)

A quiet day in, the weather’s grim. Still working on the jigsaw!

Tonight I’m doing a box office shift then we’re going in to see ‘ Confess, Fletch’.
One more day- the boys head off Thursday. I realise not everyone would relish their two adult sons loafing around for nearly two weeks, but I’ve loved it! Lots of fun plus the confirmation again that they’re good humans.
